Diamond Auctions? Naaah, Are Jewelries Girls’ Best Friend?

Has anyone tried diamond auctions before? How was it? This is just a segue for my article about Jewelries.

I tried on my newly bought pearl earrings and my mom yelled that Jewelries are my best friend just like any other girls. She went on to say that I always wear a jewelry on any outfit yet I can go on months or years without really talking to my friends. Then proceeded to say that I am better off with these jewelries. I was just laughing at her remarks but it hit me, maybe she is right? Are jewelries really my best friends?

It left me thinking and I realized that I have a lot of Jewelries. I never left our house without a piece of Jewelries on. And one is not even enough, I should have at least a bracelet and earrings. It depends on my mood and where I am going, if it is a special occasion or if I am wearing a dress, bracelet, earrings AND necklace should be in it. No buts, no excuses. You will never see me without a jewelry unless I am at home of course.

I do not know if this applies to all the girls out there but I have a special connection to my jewelries! Most of them are either given to me as present or I bought on a special occasion. Either way, they will always be special to me especially if it is given by a family.

I do not know but I feel like Jewelries in general are very therapeutic. Yes, there are therapeutic gemstones but in this case, I am not pertaining to them. I am talking about just Jewelries in General. Somehow, just looking at my jewelries really soothes me. There is something about jewelries that puts me in the mood. I am surely always on a good mood if I know for sure I am going to buy a new jewelry and add to my collection in a few days. Nothing can ruin my mood on the day I buy my jewelries. It is therapeutic for me I guess.

For some, they probably think this is an addiction. No it is not, and it will never be. I know for sure because I had a financial crisis back in the day. We had a very few projects going in so we had to down size some of salaries so to cut the story short, my income during those times decreased. For almost two years, my income was not back to my normal take home. Prior to this financial crisis, I buy at least 1 jewelry every 2 months or every month if possible. Guess how many jewelries I bought during those financial crisis? 3? 4? 5? No! I bought nothing! Yes nothing. See, I can prioritize. I know for a fact that jewelries are luxury. Why would I spend on luxury if I am having financial crisis? No no no. See? I am still sane.

There is nothing wrong with buying too much jewelries. As long as you have money to buy jewelry ( when I say money, I mean the excess on your salary after buying necessities), then do not bother with other people telling you that you have a problem. You are normal and nothing is wrong with you 🙂

What Compose Most of The Blogs These Days

opinions In general, I am not a fan of opinion posts / blogs. In my honest opinion, these posts or blogs are just too plain, boring and lazy. Some of the opinion posts these days are just really dumb, rather than critical and valid criticisms, most opinion bloggers take it too personal.

I do think that opinion posts should be made with extra care and checking of the details. Bloggers writing their opinion should weigh in a solid logic with penetrating insights, it should not be just a list of reasons why hate or like a movie, a person or a thing. That makes it just a simple ranting.

Nowadays, it is very hard to find a good opinion posts where the write has not involve his personal feelings when it comes to breaking down valid points on why a thing is bad or good.

The thing I do not like with these opinion blogs is that it makes the readers think the same as the writer. I have seen bloggers write facts and verified info then later add their personal opinion. Those kinds are great because you did not condition the readers to hate or like a certain thing the same thing as you do. Writers need to laid down facts first, and by facts it should be verified and not just a heresay. It is important to laid down facts first so that the readers can form their own opinion on the matter and can better think whether they agree with you or not.

In my opinion, there is just one problem or irritating sin most of the blogger commit when they write an opinion post. And it is conditioning the readers to think like you do. That is one thing that writers should never ever do. You should just let them make their brain work and think for their own. It is really frustrating because most writers do this nowadays and I hate it because people are preconditioned to hate one thing unanimously.

I am pretty sure that most if not all of the writers these days are just there posts 2 things: first, posting an opinion posts and second, a paid advertising of different products. I do think that it is fair to accept paid advertisements for your blog, since in my opinion it is the sole purpose why people do blogging. To make money! But it makes your credibility be questionable. How can the readers know that the product you are promoting is really effective? There is no way readers can tell since it is paid, you will tell them it is effective even though it is a shitty product. Is there even an honest blog out there that only accept ads that they can vouch for? Nope nope nope. Lah. You would never find any. True story bru, I would love to see great bloggers who are trustworthy like me. 🙂 If I ever grow my blog, I will only promote products that I can vouch for.

Ironic that this post is an opinion post right? Ha! No this is more of letting people know that think for yourself and do not let what you read condition how you think and how you see things. Process facts on your own without letting other people dictate how you think.

So Apparently, it’s possible..

singingSo you know, apparently it is really possible. So I went to watch a Japanese Rock band artist Live in Nagisaen together with 3 of my friends. I was actually the one who made all the arrangements, from booking the flights to accommodation, to researching how to get to the super isolated venue of the concert to everything we needed!

The venue is so isolated that we have to travel 4 hours to get there, and that is using a train! A train! Imagine how far it is. It was really exhausting but super fun. It was really fun because you get to talk to someone after a day of roaming around. It was also fun because all that happened that day can be talked about.

Well that’s not the point of this post. One of the friends I went to watch the concert with told me she can understand a little of the Japanese language because she watch a lot of animes. And I was like ‘yeah, yeah sure’. It’s not that I do not believe her. In general I really do but it’s just that I have heard that phrase from a lot of people. I myself also say that kind of thing, however I know for a fact that that is just a little gloating.

But lo and behold. She can really understand the Japanese language!! She translated 80% of the MC talk during the concert, and I can only understand a few phrase the vocalist said. (The vocalist is annoyingly so so SO talkative. And the whole band are bantering and playing around, so understanding the language is really really really helpful for a better concert experience.

She is currently enrolled to a Elementary Japanese Class, which is a pre-requisite to take the N5 class. She cannot take the class because it is not possible and yet I already passed that class! And I am currently on N4 level and she’s better than me when it comes to listening and vocabs.

The only catch with her learning the Japanese language through anime is that she cannot construct sentences very well. She can understand the words but can barely speak the language. So everytime we need to ask something to the locals (which is really really frequent, like it’s on a daily basis because we are constantly looking for places), I do the asking and she does the listening. Because I can form sentences very well but I can’t seem to catch some words the Japanese say.

And right now I’m on a mission to watch animes and improve my vocabublary very well. I need to learn more on the language in the span of two months so I can watch another concert. I have always been interested with Japanese stuff in general like music, shows and anything Japanese.
